Its been my experience that after the Thanksgiving feast is over most will continue to eat foods they normally thus adding even more calories than usual to their diets. Even today, when I was at the vet the clerk asked me "How was your Thanksgiving? " I answered "very good! Glad it's over. Now to start behaving myself." She replied "Not till January!"
I know, New Year, New You....YadaYada....Isn't it really just another excuse to put off doing whats good for you? NO BETTER TIME THEN THE PRESENT! Start now being conscious of what your putting in your body and what your doing about using those calories efficiently! This will begin a pattern of healthy food consumption habits that will empower you in January to continue on the right track to meeting your goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This doesn't mean that you can't enjoy your holiday favorites. Just be sure to choose what you really like with self control and a plan.
So will you be starting now or will you choose to hold back and continue to indulge until January?
